【英语学习交流会】逐梦之路,且行且学 Study for the Dream 영어 학습 교류회

    2019年15日,华苑枫叶国际学校在报告厅举办了规模盛大的学习交流会活动。在老师们前期充足的宣传努力下,活动现场门庭若市,座无虚席。作为学校的品牌活动之一,本次交流活动主要邀请了很多外校的家长和学生参与,通过老师和家长们一上午真诚而愉快的互动,点燃了家长们对子女英语学习的期待与热情,让这个冬日不再寒冷!

    早上830分,学校老师和同学们已经准备就绪,虽然活动当天天气非常寒冷,但是却丝毫没有影响到大家对这次学习交流会的热情。距离活动开始还有一个小时左右,就已经有很多家长们陆续前来报到了,大家在孩子们的引导下签到领取资料后,进入会场观看宣传视频,等候活动开始。

    上午10点整,交流会在两位初中学生的主持中正式开始。在欣赏了一段由学生们自编自演的表演过后,家长们对孩子们的英语表达水平赞不绝口。随后,大英语主任王蕾蒂女士以及外教老师对枫叶英语教学的特色进行介绍,同时还有初中部的学生负责翻译,再一次让家长们看到了枫叶学子的风采。王主任用认真细致的讲解和内容丰富的PPT向家长们介绍学校英语教学的特色,她指出,英语教学应从词汇、语法入手,着重培养学生听说、阅读、写作的能力。在枫叶,新生入学后都需统一参加英语分级测试,测试、定级后,才能进入相应英语级别班学习,这是一种先进的因材施教模式,很大程度上提升了教学质量与效率。

    初中部主任章文雅女士为家长们带来初中特色教育的详细介绍。她指出,枫叶初中坚持“三好习惯”养成教育,注重学生自我教育、自我管理,实施领先的教学模式,并且更加注重学生的德育培养,每月施行一个德育主题。另外,枫叶以伟人为榜样,以崇高精神做引领,组建“邓颖超班”,创造特色小班化教学,同时搭配取代一纸定胜负的多元立体的学习成绩评价机制,形成学校独有的英语教学特色。

    在家长们充分了解了枫叶学校的学生水平以及教学特色后,谭校长作总结讲话,肯定了枫叶学校以往取得的成绩,并对接下来的教学工作进行了展望。她强调,最好的教育方式是激发学生的内驱动力,良好的氛围才能增强学习兴趣,而多姿多彩的选修课程与活动课程,更是能让寓教于乐的同时,还可以积极地开发孩子们隐藏的兴趣和天赋,而这也正是枫叶学校能够独具特色的原因所在。在会上,谭校长不仅向家长们分享了枫叶优秀毕业生的故事和他们所取得的瞩目成绩,而且还以现场互动问答的形式,让与会家长也参与其中。

    活动接近尾声时,招生办季主任向家长们介绍入学流程,并指引大家在交流会结束后可以到报告厅进行分组咨询。最后,家长们在小引导员和指示牌的引导下开始了校园参观,一楼大厅的学生作品展再次让家长们眼前一亮,纷纷赞叹着枫叶教学的多姿多彩。

    学习交流会是枫叶学校充分展示自我品牌、弘扬自身文化的一个平台,它的顺利落幕,为教师、家长和学生之间架设起了一座沟通的桥梁,激发了大家共同学习、共同奋斗的热情,也必将推动学校英语教学的不断改进。

    On Jan. 5th,2019, An English study meeting was held in the auditorium of Huayuan Maple Leaf.The teachers prepared a lot and there were many parents coming to the school. As one of the big events of our school, we invited parents and students from other schools to communicate with the teachers here sincerely. It was no longer cold in winter after the parents had more expectation from their children.

    At 8:30am, everything was ready. Though it was cold, everyone was longing for the English study meeting. Many parents had came to the school 1 hour before the meeting began. They were waiting for the start of the meeting after they signed their names and got the materials.

    The two students from middle school were the MCs. At 10:00 am, the meeting began. Some students showed a performance which was made by themselves. The parents praised the students for their English level. Afterwards, Ms.Wang, the director of ESL, and an English teacher gave us an introduction to the characteristics of English teaching in Huayuan Maple Leaf. Meanwhile, a middle school student was the interpreter, who showed the brilliant style of Maple Leaf. Ms. Wang explained in detail and used the vivid PPT to tell the parents the characteristics of English teaching here. She pointed out that English teaching should begin with vocabulary and grammar and we paid attention to the cultivation of listening, speaking, reading and writing. Every student who wants to study in Maple Leaf needs to have an English level test. They will study in a leveled class after they are ranked. It will promote the efficiency and the quality of English teaching.

    Ms.Zhang, the director of middle school gave us a specific introduction to the middle school education. She pointed out that the middle school of Huayuan cultivated the students from their three habits; the middle school paid attention to the students’self-education and self-management;it had its advanced mode of teaching and paid more attention to the moral education; we had a theme on moral education every month; moreover, we had Deng Yingchao class to make students have good examples and high spirit; we had fewer students in a class; we would not assess the students according to one test and we had our own characteristics of English teaching.

    After the parents had understood the students’ English levels and the characteristics in Maple Leaf, Ms. Tan gave us a speech. She praised us for our success in the past and gave us her expectation for the future teaching. She emphasized that the best way of education was to inspire the students’internal driving force and only wonderful atmosphere could increase their interests in learning.In her point of view, the fantastic activity classes could make students happy during their study and developed their interests and gifts. It was also one of the characteristics in Maple Leaf. Ms. Tan not only shared  the stories of maple leaf's excellent graduates and their remarkable achievements, but also asked the parents in the form of interactive question-answer to participate in the meeting . 

    When the meeting came to the end, Ms. Ji, the director of the admissions office introduced the procedure of the recruitment and welcomed the consult after the meeting.At last,the parents visited our campus and noticed the students’beautiful works on the first floor. They praised our students for their wonderful school life.

    The meeting was a platform to show Maple Leaf and its culture. It was also a bridge where the students, the parents and the teachers could communicate with each other.It could inspire our longing for the study and make us improve our English teaching in the future.

    2019년1월5일 천진화원메이플립국제학교 강당에서 영어 학습 교류회를 열었습니다. 선생님들의 충분한 준비하에 빈 자리 없이 수많은 학부모님이 교류회에 참가하였습니다. 오전 선생님들과 학부모님들은 서로의 소통을 통해 학생들이 영어 학습에 대한 열정을 보았습니다.

    아침 8시30부터 선생님들과 학생들은 이번 활동에 참여할 준비가 되어 있었습니다.날씨가 춥지만 여러분은 영어 학습 교류회에 참가하려는 열정이 높았습니다. 학부모님들은 학교에 일찍 오셔서 학생들의 안내에 따라 입장하여 기다리고 있었습니다.

    오전 10시 중학부 학생 두명이 이번 교류회를 진행하면서 학부모님들은 학생들의 영어 프로그램에 대한 칭찬을 아끼지않았으며 영어센터 王蕾蒂주임님과 원어민 선생님은 메이플립의 영어특색에 대해 소개해 드렸습니다. 이번 활동에서 통역하는 학생은 중학부 학생이었고 주임님은 내용이 풍부한 PPT로 학부모님께  영어에 대하여 설명드렸습니다.영어 학습 어휘, 문법도 중요하며 학생들의 듣기, 말하기, 쓰기 능력을 키우는데 역점을 두어야 한다고 하셨습니다. 학생이 입학한 후에 영어 레별 테스트를 통한 영어 등급에 따라 다른 반으로 분배하여 수업합니다. 이것은 선진한 소질에 맟추어 교육하는 모드이고 교육에 대한 질과 효율을 높일 수 있습니다.

    중학부 章文雅주임님께서는 중학부의 특색 교육에 대해 자세히 설명하였습니다. 또한 중학부는 “삼호습관” 을 기르는 것을 중시한다고 하였으며 학생의 자아 교육,자아 관리에 중시할 뿐만 아니라 학생들의 도덕 교육도 중시할 것입니다. 그리고 달마다 도덕 교육 주제도 실행하며 메이플립은 위인을 본보기로 “등영초반” (邓颖超班)과 소규모반을  설립하였으며 동시에 학생 성적 평가도 다원화된 시스템으로 평가하며 학교 특유한 방법으로 영어 교육을 진행하였습니다.

    학부모님께서 학생들의 학습 수준과 교육 특색을 이해하였으며 학교가 지금까지 따낸 성적도 인증하였습니다.谭교장께서는 제일 좋은 교육 방식은 학생들로 하여금 마음으로부터 동기를 얻고좋은 학습 분위기에서 학습에 대한 흥미를 갖게 되었습니다.다양한 교양 수업을 즐기면서 수업을 하는 동시에 학생들의 취미와 재능을 발휘할 수 있었습니다. 이 것이 바로 메이플립국제학교만 갖고 있는 특색입니다.

    활동이 끝날 무렵 학교 입학상담센터 季주임님께서 학부모님께 입학에 대하여 설명을 드렸습니다. 마지막으로 학부모님들은 선생님의 인도와 지도에 따라 학교를 참관하였습니다. 학교 일층에는 학생들의 작품들이 너무나 훌륭하고 빛났습니다.

    학습 교류회는 학교가 자신의 브랜드를 전시하고 자신의 문화를 알리는 환경을 조성하였습니다. 교류회는 선생님과 학부모님 그리고 학생들 사이에 서로 마음이 통하는 길입니다. 교류회는 우리 함께 노력하는 열정으로 학교 영어 교육을 끊임없이 개선할 것입니다.
